The Best Noosa Eateries – New Spots, Iconic Favourites & Hidden Gems
From fresh new openings to iconic dining institutions and hidden local favourites, we’ve curated a guide to our absolute favourite Noosa eateries for you to try on your next stay at The Cove Noosa.
The New Ones
Salty Mermaid, Peregian Beach
Located just south of The Cove Noosa in Peregian Beach, the Salty Mermaid opened in March 2026 and has already made a splash amongst locals and visitors alike. What makes this place so special is the thought that went behind the decoration, with unique pieces that come together to create a colourful and vivacious space. If you’re a fan of matcha, Salty Mermaid arguably has one of the best in the Noosa Shire (big call, we know). We also warmly recommend the Nourish Bowls for a healthy brunch or lunch.
TEN Hastings, Noosa Heads
TEN is a Hastings Street favourite that has recently been revamped with a Mediterranean influence, and we’re already loving it. Whether you’re grabbing your morning coffee or settling in for a leisurely brunch, we love sitting here and watching the world go by. We warmly recommend their signature Waffles for a decadent breakfast, along with the specialty Spanner Crab Omelette.
Cibaria Noosa, Noosa Heads
Guided by renowned restaurateurs Anna and Alessandro Pavoni, Cibaria opened in late 2025 and has quickly earned its place among Noosa’s most talked-about dining destinations. Inspired by the lively Italian piazza, the menu is a quintessential showcase of the eclectic flavours of Italy. Expect fresh seafood, hand-crafted pasta, seasonal antipasti and premium cuts from the grill. Pay a visit to this charming venue and experience la dolce vita in the heart of Hastings Street.
Lets Get Roasted & Toasted, Noosaville
Craving a toastie? This new hole in the wall establishment in the Noosa Industrial Estate is serving up the very best toasted sandwiches in Noosa (big call, we know). From tried and true favourites like the classic Ham & Cheese and traditional Rueben to their specialty sandos like the Caesar Chicken and Truffle Mushroom, there’s something for every palette here.
The Iconic Destinations
Bistro C, Noosa Heads
Perched on Noosa Main Beach and boasting absolutely sublime views of Laguna Bay, Bistro C is one of the region’s most recognisable dining destinations. The menu blends modern Australian cuisine with fresh, locally sourced seasonal ingredients, and is an idyllic venue for long lunches and sunset dinners. Make sure you try their Famous Calamari and delectable Fraser Isle Crab Spaghetti, paired with a Coconut Chilli Margarita. Need we say more?
Noosa Boathouse, Noosaville
Set directly on the Noosa River, Noosa Boathouse is one of those venues that works for any occasion. Whether you’re settling in downstairs for a leisurely riverside lunch, heading up to Sunset Bar for a couple of sunset spritzes or you’re grabbing some takeaway from the fish & chips window, this lovely dining destination truly has it all.
Bang Bang, Noosa Heads
There’s a reason why you have to book your table at Bang Bang at the same time you book your flights to Noosa! A staple on Hastings Street, this energetic venue is known for its bold, Asian-inspired flavours. Their punchy share plates are perfectly paired with their unique cocktail list (try the Miyagi’s Margi and thank us later), so it’s easy to settle in and soak up the lively atmosphere.
The Hidden Gems
Pelis Noosa, Noosa Marina
Tucked away at the Noosa Marina, Pelis offers a more laid-back dining experience with beautiful waterfront views and a Mediterranean-inspired menu. It’s a little quieter than Hastings Street, making it perfect for a long, relaxed lunch or an easy dinner by the water. Think fresh seafood, simple share plates and a setting that feels effortlessly Noosa.
Humble on Duke, Sunshine Beach
Run by dedicated dynamic duo Stacey & Jade, Humble on Duke is an intimate 14-seater restaurant that is, by definition, a hidden gem in Noosa. The small dining room is run by a passionate team, with a seasonal, share-style menu that consistently changes to highlight the best of local produce. With a strong focus on simple, flavour-led dishes inspired by Middle Eastern cooking, it’s just thoughtful food cooked with the utmost care. It’s the kind of gem where you can just sit back, trust the kitchen and relish in the experience.
Izakaya Ate, Noosa Junction
A tried and true Noosa Junction favourite, this little hole-in-the-wall Japanese eatery is absolutely beloved by locals. Following the traditional izakaya style, expect everything from ramen, karaage chicken, gyoza and bento boxes. The venue is cosy, homely and provides exceptionally attentive service, be sure you visit Izakaya Ate on your next trip to Noosa!
