The popular family resort closed its doors for 6 months during the refresh, after 34 years of welcoming guests to Noosa from all over Australia and the world.

The comprehensive renovations included:

• A new external reception facility overlooking the beach was constructed, to welcome guests in a style befitting a Noosa luxury holiday experience.
• A complete rebuild of the resort pool and poolside decking. This has resulted in what is now one of the region’s largest resort pool facilities, inclusive of an outdoor spa.
• All the apartments’ historical balustrades were replaced with glass to make the most of the sweeping coastal views and aspects.
• Dated terracotta tiles were stripped out and replaced, giving the resort a clean and contemporary, welcoming appeal.
• The resort grounds were completely refreshed with extensive green-scaping in keeping with the resort’s natural setting where the rainforest meets the sea.  

Noosa Cove Resort Management Director, David Langdon said that the upgrade of facilities was a result of years of planning and by apartment owners and management.

“The development was in the vicinity of $4 million, which is a huge commitment and investment by owners into the future of not only the resort, but in Noosa’s attraction as a destination.

“We are very proud of what has been achieved through the cooperation and support of our owners, all of whom have a passion for Noosa and the comfort of their guests” he said.

To enhance the comfort of their guests during the closure period, numerous individual apartment owners chose to renovate and refurbish their apartments upgrading the amenities and aesthetics of their units.

“Many of our owners have worked with interior designers and stylists to update their individual apartments, such as local company Coastal Interior Design, that specialises in renovating holiday accommodation in Noosa,” says Resort Manager, Mark Langdon.

The newly renovated resort is setting a benchmark for luxury accommodation standards in Noosa.
