Get out in the fresh air and enjoy the spectacular Noosa hinterland countryside on The Noosa Trail Network. The trails are well signposted, with picnic shelters and scenic lookouts.
With over 450kms of public walking paths and bikeways to explore, you’ll need a map and plenty of time to get active. So you can immerse yourself in Noosa’s nature and stunning scenery.
Take the time to reconnect with nature and go on a journey into the wild. The Noosa Trail Network is made up of eight trails and range from an easy 1km to a challenging 62km! Stretching across a variety of terrain, some trails require a high level of fitness. So, learn about the trails before you set out.
Discover hidden Hinterland towns
Learn about the past from heritage information that is provided along the trail. And discover heritage walks in the towns of Pomona, Tewantin and Cooroy.
The trails wind through and past working farms including three working dairy farms, plantation timber, macadamia nut crops, a Dexter (small cow) cattle breeding stud, worm farm and an Arabian horse stud.
The trails will also take you through the gorgeous towns of Kin Kin, Cooran and the residential areas of Forest Acres and Cudgerie.
Explore the Noosa Biosphere
The Noosa Biosphere reserve is home to 2,346 species of plants and over 700 species of native animals, 49 of which are internationally significant.
The Noosa Trail Network covers a vast area of the Noosa Hinterland region. Therefore you’ll see several different habitats, from country lanes and paddocks, to rainforests and scrubland. And spectacular lake and mountain vistas.
You’ll enjoy a full sensory experience in the Noosa Biosphere. Because you’ll learn stories about the history of the area and interesting facts on the rare flora and fauna. And be wowed by the changing scenery, intriguing sounds and distinctive smells.
